My name is Ben Markowitz. I'm a designer living and working remotely in the Shenandoah Valley of Virgina.

About Me

Born and bred in the wilds of the Shenandoah Valley, I attended college at nearby James Madison University earning majors in both Computer Science and Media Arts & Design (Interactive Multimedia).

I have 15 years of professional product design experience in myriad fields ranging from higher-ed marketing, legal discovery, AI, and healthcare.

I recently joined Rialtic, a startup based in Atlanta, Georgia as Product Design Lead. I was previously with Protenus in Baltimore, Maryland for six years also as Product Design Lead.

I've been working remotely for over a decade. Today I live just outside of Harrisonburg, VA with my wife, children, and two dogs.

I have over 15 years experience working with different industries, user groups, and platforms, and have encountered a range of design challenges and solutions. With this depth of experience, I am able to quickly assess project requirements, ideate and iterate on designs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
